I started Carrera's talent management division in 2013 because I believed businesses deserved more than a recruiter who fills a role and disappears. They deserved a partner who genuinely understood their business — the pressures, the culture, the people — and stayed invested across the entire talent lifecycle.
That's how I work. I take the time to listen properly, ask the questions others don't, and build relationships that go well beyond a single brief. My clients will tell you I go over and above. I'd say I just care deeply about getting it right. Over 18+ years I've built a practice around three things that I believe drive every high-performing business: the right people in the right roles, teams that are genuinely engaged, and leaders who have the confidence and capability to grow.
That last one is particularly close to my heart. I love working with new and emerging leaders — helping them build the competencies that make them not just better managers, but genuinely inspiring ones. Watching someone step into their leadership identity is one of the most rewarding things I do.
On the recruitment side, there's nothing quite like helping someone land their dream role, or seeing a business transform because they finally hired the right person. After all this time it still excites me.
