Carrera was engaged by a family owned business to support their next phase of growth by conducting an executive search to find a CFO that was equipped to drive change and growth in the finance function and broader leadership.
The Challenge
Successfully owned and operated for more than 40 years, this family business had reached an inflection point: the next stage of growth required leadership capability it didn't yet have internally. The business needed to a Chief Financial Officer — not just functionally capable, but culturally compatible with a business where trust, values, and long-term thinking are foundational.
