As we near the end of 2024, we are busy preparing for programs launching in the new year but we are also taking a moment to reflect on what has been an exceptionally busy and rewarding year. It is also time to thank the Carrera team who have worked tirelessly to support our clients through many different programs and projects with many more lined up already lined up for 2025.
Our recruitment division has experienced the busiest year since pre-pandemic days with several significant client transformation programs seeing us go deeper still in our relationships and work on roles spanning Commercial Director to CFO, Supply Chain to Export Planning and almost everything in between! We thrive on the challenge of finding hidden talent, our depth of experience in recruitment and level of investment in our relationships with candidates and clients means we get it right – pairing top talent with the employer that fits them best.
Our talent management practice has grown significantly this year working on a range of programs with our clients – predominantly in the employee engagement and leadership development spheres. Growing pressures within businesses to address cost of living pressures and a competitive talent market has also resulted in a rise in remuneration benchmarking programs over the last 18 months – our remuneration benchmarking is so much more than a broad salary survey – it provides real time data benchmarking salaries by role type as well as size of company, channel, category etc making it a meaningful source of information for businesses to use when considering remuneration movement.
Employee Engagement has been at the forefront of most conversations with clients this year and our Employee Pulse Survey has proved invaluable in understanding drivers of engagement and retention for different businesses and allowed us to build programs that address key opportunities while grappling with challenges such as hybrid working and health and wellbeing.
Several of our Leadership Development Programs this year have focused on driving self-awareness and competency in coaching teams, providing feedback, and providing team members with personal development and goal setting opportunities. The feedback from these programs has been exceptional with participants already sharing the positive impact it has had in increased collaboration across business units, greater productivity and engagement, a focus on innovation and problem solving and more rigorous succession planning and internal mobility options opening up at all levels.
2025 looks to be even busier still… we are recruiting now for roles to commence in February and beyond with a positive outlook on opportunities for many businesses to build on their success this year, particularly in the digital and ecommerce space. Our leadership development programs are being customised now to meet the specific needs of our clients with a focus in the programs next year on driving communication and accountability in leaders, particularly at an early-mid Manager level.
We look forward to connecting with you in the next few weeks to understand how we might be able to support your recruitment and talent management requirements in 2025 – please reach out to discuss how we can help!
