We are now seeking a commercially astute Key Account Manager to join the business in NSW, driving performance across key accounts and strategically expanding the customer base within the industrial / ingredients sector.



About the role

This is not a maintenance role. This is a growth role.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will own your designated key accounts budget and play a key role in delivering the broader team target.

You will manage and grow existing industrial accounts while proactively generating new business opportunities within your sector. You’ll operate as a strategic partner, solution seller and commercially disciplined operator who understands margin, forecasting, demand planning and execution.

This is a fully remote role with flexibility to work from home when not with customers.



Responsibilities of the role


  • Deliver the KAM budget and contribute to the Industrial Team budget

  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities

  • Prepare and contribute to tenders to secure long-term commercial partnerships

  • Construct and execute a structured customer engagement calendar

  • Conduct business performance and category reviews

  • Document sales activity targets across each stage of the pipeline

  • Prospect and secure meetings with potential customers to uncover needs

  • Position tailored product solutions that deliver value

  • Maintain high levels of sales discipline and reporting


About You

Demonstrated experience working with major accounts in NSW across foodservice / industrial food sector

  • Passion for growing a portfolio of customers, identifying new business opportunities and generating revenue

  • Experience negotiating and influencing key stakeholders

  • Able to work well under pressure and demonstrate a proven track-record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to effectively keep track of monthly sales progress and ability to forecast profit margins with strategies of achieving sales metrics

  • Have a growth mindset and easily adapt to shifts in priorities and ongoing change
