About the role
You will lead, train, coach and monitor the performance of a national field team to deliver sales and commercial outcomes. Relationships with customers will be crucial in enabling creative & strategic decision making and ensuring achievement of national objectives.
Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor the teams’ sales and merchandising activities
Manage KPI’s that drive successful outcomes for customers
Ensure channel plans are executed to the required standards and targets are met
Coach, train, support and help the team resolve in-store issues
Work with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure supply of product, POS and people are all in the right place at the right time
Maintain lines of communications and build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Weekly and monthly reporting highlighting successes and process improvement opportunities
Skills and experience
Demonstrated experience delivering sales and relationship management outcomes
Ability to work with a number of internal and external key stakeholders
Experience in coaching and leading sales teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Very strong commercial acumen
Highly capable in managing multiple priorities
Excellent knowledge of national grocery/mass retail channels
Previous roles are likely to include account and people management
