As the business continues to expand, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join their leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, performance and project profitability.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations of the group, ensuring the sound management of reporting, compliance and cash flow. You will provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making, strengthen commercial frameworks and safeguard profitability across a diverse portfolio of bespoke projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function, including management accounting, forecasting, cash flow and statutory reporting.
Set financial strategies and ensure alignment to business strategy
Lead detailed business review process
Provide financial advice and analysis to Directors on financial management
Develop and refine financial systems, controls and reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy, transparency and efficiency.
Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and financial institutions.
Effective cross functional collaboration fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability.
About You
You are a commercially astute finance professional with a strong commercial background, preference is given to experience in construction, property development or project-based industries. Above all you thrive in a dynamic, design-led environment and take pride in balancing creativity with commercial discipline.
You’ll bring:
CA/CPA qualification.
Experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role within construction or a related sector.
Proven capability in project financial control, forecasting and cost management.
Comprehensive understanding of the importance of cash flow management
Strong systems acumen
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset and genuine passion for supporting operational excellence.
