About the role
The role of Demand and Supply Planner is to manage and maintain the day-to-day Demand and Supply planning activities for the business, with the Sales and Operations Planning process being the focus. You will be a key member of the Oceania Supply Chain Team tasked with delivering best in class Forecast Accuracy and On-Time-In-Full service levels which enables the business to service and build strong relationships with customers.
Lead and manage all demand planning activities including but not limited to:Developing a 12-month rolling forecast for Oceania, ensuring market intelligence and assumptions are applied appropriately
Analyse and manage forecast performance
Manage forecasts for promotional plans with commercial teams
Extract and utilise raw data from SAP/MGX/BI for bottoms up forecasting
Managing new product and depletion plans ensuring links to accurate forecasting
Participate in monthly forecast and S&OP alignment process with ANZ commercial team
Lead monthly demand/supply alignment session with off-shore teams
Participate in Supply Chain Planning activities with broader Oceania business
Recommend ad implement forecast and supply process improvements that impact cost, cash, and service.
Skills and experience
Understanding of and ability to interpret retail data
Use of Promax (or promotional planning software) in determining promotional demand and forecasting
FMCG experience including exposure to major national grocery and pharmacy businesses
Extensive use and knowledge of Excel
Demonstrable experience managing S&OP processes
Work from Home Flexibility
