About the role
We’re looking for a results-driven salesperson with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customers. You will be tasked with new lead generation, as well as sales to existing customers leveraging your sales ability to high end construction and architects.
Reporting to the Sales Director your responsibilities include:
Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcome
Present, promote and sell products/services using the company’s Go To Market strategy to existing and prospective customers
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationship
Manage new reactive leads and generate new leads
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other key stakeholders
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will be a sales hunter and effective relationship builder. Your background will likely be technical sales where you have in depth experience in developing leads, building relationships, determining customer needs and solution selling. This experience may have been gained in a similar technology-based sector and/or through your exposure to architects/specifiers. Most important factors are your technical mindset and hunger for seeking new customers.
A competitive base salary and tools of trade package will be negotiated along with a very generous performance-based commission program.
