About the role

Due to business growth and restructure, new roles have been created to drive the further development of the portfolio of brands and maximise the opportunity to engage with consumers. Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of the brand/s strategy delivering a world-class product range and effective campaigns to drive engagement and sales.


Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • The development and execution of brand strategy that drives consumer demand and supports customers’ needs

  • Above The Line, Digital and Social communications strategy and implementation

  • Innovation and new product development including brand identity.

  • Developing with input from the sales team, annual sales and promotional plans across all channels

  • Driving communication to engage customers and build confidence in all brands

  • Focus on customer experience through consumer and trade events & brand-in-hand activations

  • Support the sales team in communicating the brand story to customers across various channels


Skills and experience

Essential requirements:

  • Extensive brand strategy development & execution across multiple brands, categories and channels

  • Deep understanding of FMCG brand marketing across various channels of distribution

  • Ability to make things happen – self-driven, action-oriented and collaborative

  • Excellent Communicator – very self-aware, adaptable to your audience

  • Able to build strong relationships across all functions – be genuine, authentic, trusted and do what you say

  • Knowledge of product positioning, pricing, packaging and distribution

  • Highly organised – disciplined, prioritised and planned yet agile and resilient

  • Meticulous eye for detail

  • Excellent commercial analytical skill and budget management

A deep understanding of liquor/drinks/FMCG channels and customers in energetic, fast paced innovative categories is highly desirable.
