About the role

The Account Manager Foodservice will take charge of the NSW Accounts leading the development of new and existing customers driving sales in both Foodservice Distributors and End Users.


This autonomous position will be accountable for:

  • Achievement of sales budgets across all customers

  • Building effective long term commercially focused relationships

  • Increasing ranging within existing Foodservice Distributor customers

  • Identifying and winning new End User accounts and extending ranging in existing

  • Developing and maintaining an effective call cycle

  • Identifying developing and implementing promotional planning opportunities

  • Identifying and capitalising on market trends

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure customer deliverables are achieved

  • Updating all required information within company CRM

Skills and experience

To be successful you must be authentic and a commercially oriented relationship builder that identifies opportunities and develops a sales process to win and grow business.

In addition to this you will:

  • Have a strong understanding of the Foodservice market

  • Preferably have an interest in food and food trends with commercial applications

  • Demonstrate experience in working with KPI’s to achieve sales objectives

  • Be able to articulate your sales process and demonstrate how you drive yourself to achieve

  • Be well planned and show attention to detail, prioritising key activities

  • Show strength in understanding the numbers especially around pricing and profitability

  • Understand the importance of reporting and communication
